We are a family-run business supported by a team of talented artists. Although our family has been rooted in Zurich for a considerable amount of time, our Asian heritage should be felt in the service and hospitality that you experience from the moment you enter one of our salons. We combine a deep understanding of our craftsmanship with a dedication to excellent customer service. We founded Mina Beauty in 2022 and have been delighted with how well our services have been received by our local and international clients based in Zurich. After two years of hard work and focus on becoming one of Zurich’s favoured salons, Mina Beauty has successfully established its second location in Seefeld in 2024, offering our clients two prime locations in the heart of downtown Zurich.
Our philosophy around beauty is all about simplicity and convenience. It is driven by skilled hands and guided by passion and expertise. Each client is a unique canvas, and our artists – averaging up to 10 years of experience in the beauty sector – are committed to delivering their best work for you. Every time.
We recognise that our clients have a choice when it comes to which beauty salon they entrust. As a family run business, we pride ourselves on the employment conditions that we offer to our team. All our employees have permanent contracts and benefit from conditions that exceed the industry standards. Alongside managing the company, Hiep’s extensive experience in the beauty sector means that she draws upon many clients who she has accompanied over the past years. Primarily working as a lash-extension artist, you will find Hiep at both the Zürichberg and Seefeld salon. She is currently pursuing her Swiss Sachkundenausweis certification, a training to become a certified medical cosmetic in Switzerland.
Hiep lives in the suburbs of Zurich with her husband who grew up in Switzerland. Outside of work, Hiep enjoys yoga, maintaining an active lifestyle, cooking and travelling.
Honza is our master nail technician. His attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency makes him a popular choice amongst clients for all things nails.
Honza is married and lives with his wife in the suburbs of Zurich. He is passionate about cooking, travelling and enjoys spending time with the family.
Yanjika works in the area of nails and lash extensions. Her calm nature coupled with her seamless approach of bringing out the best in you will transform your lunchtime manicure session in a mini holiday. When she is not at Mina Beauty, Yanjika enjoys spending time with her German husband, exploring what Switzerland has to offer.
Diem has joined us on our journey and is eager to make every client's visit to our salon a memorable experience. Diem is married and lives with her husband in the city of Zurich. In her free time, Diem enjoys cooking as well as learning German.
Hien is Mina Beauty’s most recent addition to the team. She works in the area of nails and lashes. Hien is the sister of Hiep and the wife of Honza, supporting the family-run business ethos of Mina Beauty. Outside of Mina Beauty, she enjoys cooking, skin care, and travelling.

Fair employment
We understand that our clients have a choice when it comes to what salon they entrust their beauty with.
In recent times the media has reported negatively on employment conditions for staff at nail and beauty salons. We are disturbed by this reality and distance ourselves from such practices.
At Mina Beauty, all our beauticians receive a permanent contract which is compliant with Swiss law. We pay above market-rate salaries including a 13th month salary, and our staff are entitled to 100% of the tips they receive.
For the above reasons, we are unable - and to some extent also unwilling - to compete with the prices which some of the budget salons offer.
